It is (finally!) time to "spill the tea" about the 8th Annual 4 Day Knit-along! This yearly event, hosted by Marie Greene of Olive Knits begins on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, and is one of our favorite annual traditions.
This year's design is a bottom-up, one-piece vest which is worked in the round to the underarm. It features easy-to-memorize lace repeats, dashing contrast stripes, simple ribbing, and a flattering V neck shape. Designed to be worn with about 4" (10cm) of positive ease, it can be worn on its own or over a tank top/regular shirt depending on your preference. 
We selected Twisp by HiKoo as our featured yarn. Made in Peru using Pima cotton, bamboo viscose, and hemp fibers, this plant-based yarn is offered in a celebration of colors sure to delight. 
Want to take your Tea "to go"? This limited-edition pack was designed by the Makers' Mercantile team in collaboration with Olive Knits to commemorate this year's KAL. It includes all kinds of goodies: a project bag that was printed and sewn by our team right here in Kent, WA, an enamel pin and sticker, plus a teacup stitch marker made in Washington State by our friends at Sunrise Grove. This pack also includes the Spill the Tea pattern to make this adventure even more memorable!

Use this chart to determine which size you'll make, and also to discover how many skeins of each color yarn you'll need. Measurements in the chart below are the finished size of the garment. The pattern is designed to be worn with about 4 in (10 cm) of positive ease. Example: The recommended size for a person with a 36" bust would be size M.
