Exactly as described, this part is at the top-most region of the machine, and you will become very familiar with it once you’ve begun to use your addi Express. Aside from the handle, this is the only other golden part that is visible from the outside of the machine. There is a lid on top of the guide that opens to let your running yarn in to guide it into the hook of each needle tip.

These are interchangeable for the Pro (22 needles) and the King Size (46 needles).

Includes 1 Gold Yarn Guide, 2 screws, and 1 faceplate.

How to Replace: With a Phillip’s screwdriver, remove the 4 screws at the top of your machine. Be sure to place them somewhere where they will be easy to find, and won’t roll away. You can now remove the thin black ring which your yarn guide is attached to. Turn this ring upside down and undo the 2 screws holding the gold guide onto the ring, switch out with your new yarn guide and replace the 2 screws holding it onto the black ring. You may now place the ring back onto the machine and replace the 4 screws from the beginning. Your defective part is recyclable.
