This is what used to be referred to as a shetland weight yarn. It has a crisp hand and works well for stranded color designs. The yarn softens up with washing. It is a heavy fingering/light sport weight yarn. The wool from Norwegian White tailed sheep. It is washed, carded, spun and dyed in Norway at the Rauma factory in Veblungsnes Norway
Finullgarn means Fine Wool Yarn and is ideal for sweaters, hats and mittens as well as for felting. Finer than Strikkegarn, Finullgarn has a very wide range of colors.
