Fiber and Flame Glass Stitch Markers – Set of 5
Handmade on Whidbey Island, Washington, these glass stitch markers from Fiber & Flame add a small touch of color and craftsmanship to your knitting. Each marker is individually lampworked from borosilicate glass and kiln-annealed for strength, creating tools that are both durable and beautiful.
This five-marker configuration was created especially for Makers’ Mercantile. The set includes a dedicated beginning-of-round marker along with four matching stitch markers for pattern repeats or shaping.
Each set includes 5 markers in the same colorway:
• 1 teardrop-shaped marker with a colored accent dot, making it easy to identify the beginning of a round or another key point in your knittingThe markers have an opening of approximately 6.5 mm, making them suitable for needle sizes up to US 10.
Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape and color are part of what makes every set unique.
Fiber & Flame is run by Devin and Brittany, who live on Whidbey Island with their daughter and a lively collection of animals including dogs, sheep, rabbits, ducks, and chickens. Devin has been working with glass since 2004, first discovering lampworking at the craft center at California Polytechnic State University–San Luis Obispo. Brittany began knitting that same year, sparking a love of fiber arts that eventually grew to include spinning and weaving.
