Finest Royal Alpaca is one of the best available on the world market. In the highlands of Bolivia, with its extreme temperature fluctuations, the animals find ideal conditions to conjure up such a magnificent fiber (fiber fineness 19 - 20 microns). The animals are only partially shorn every 18 months. The yarn warms more than wool, is stronger and more resistant, yet significantly lighter. Highly recommended for noble and durable knitwear.
