Skyscraper Shawl Kit

Skyscraper is a triangular wrap that starts from a point and increases in width along the left edge. Constructed using two contrasting yarns with long repeats of colour, I-cord edges lead to a ribbed panel to finish. Only two different colourways are used and just one colour is worked per row meaning that Skyscraper is easier to knit than it looks. If you can knit, purl, M1L (instructions included) and slip a stitch then you can build your very own skyscraper.

This wrap was inspired by the indomitable force of the natural world. Even in the middle of the city, Mother Nature will drape every possible window of the tallest man-made structure into giant screens reflecting the resplendence of her undeniable magnificence... "I am everywhere. I was, before you arrived, and will be, long after you have left."

This project is worked flat using the following techniques:

Cast on / Bind off
Knit / Purl
Working flat
Slipping stitches
Increasing (M1L)
Applied I-cord
