Dip It Wrist Warmers Kit by Isabell Kraemer
We loved this clever little design by Isabell Kraemer and knew it would make a great project for knitters who enjoy watching texture and color come alive on their needles.
The dip-stitch pattern creates a striking two-color fabric that looks intricate but is wonderfully approachable to knit. Stitches reach down into the contrasting color below, creating a rhythmic texture with depth and movement across the fabric. Because you are only working with one color at a time, it’s a relaxing knit that still delivers a dramatic visual effect.
For our version, we paired yarns that highlight both stitch definition and playful color. The base yarn keeps the fabric crisp and structured, while the companion yarn brings shifting color that peeks through the dipped stitches in unexpected ways. As the pattern develops, those pops of color create a lively surface that feels a little different every time. The bold solid of Admiral by Schoppel plays beautifully with the cheerful color-shifts in Crazy Boys (also by Schoppel). One kit is enough to make two sets of wrist warmers if you make one set with Admiral as the MC and the other using Crazy Boys as the MC!
Each kit offers a ready-to-knit pairing chosen to show off the pattern’s texture and color play. With a range of colorways available, knitters can pick the combination that speaks to them and enjoy watching the fabric unfold one dip at a time.
