Classic Helical Hat Kit

Using the Classic Family Hat by John Crane as a starting point, we refreshed this pattern using new yarns and a slightly simplified approach. Helical Knitting creates stripes in a spiral, eliminating jobs and looks great in closely matching subtle colors, or bold contrasts.

We used two yarns from Schoppel, the solid Alb Lino for the brim and the gradient of Edition 3 for the contrasting stripes. This pattern comes in two sizes with instructions for how to make a close-fitting or slouchy version.
