Makers Unite is based on an original painting by Karin Skacel. Large translucent stitches form the background while many hands, some with a heart in the middle, and others with the Hamsa Hand - which symbolizes the Hand of God as a form of protection, grace the painting. Two hands join to hold up the sun which provides light and enlightenment to the world below. The world also features a heart in the center - created of yarn. The world is surrounded by 123 makers of all nationalities, holding hands to unite. Painting, knitting, sewing and crochet tools are all featured in the painting.
Designed, printed, and sewn in our Kent, WA shop.
