If you think garter stitch is boring, think again! In this piece, garter stitch is worked in alternate needle sizes for a lovely, wispy summer look. The lightness of the finished fabric allows the poncho to flow along with the summer breeze, just as the colors flow into each other: a result of double stranding the yarn when using the smaller needle size. Fringes are working in as you knit your piece, as well as being added at the end.
Sample shown in Color A (#92-Pearl), Color B (#89-Sea Glass), Color C (#85-Sea), Color D (#86-Periwinkle), and Color E (#87-Freesia).
