My First Top-Down Socks - Online Workshop

Always wanted to make your own socks and did not know where to begin? Join us for this class and learn the basics of making socks top down. We will be talking about sock anatomy, grafting, and tips to avoid holes and tight cast on.

To concentrate on a sock itself, we will use Stockinette for a main stitch pattern.  There will be two other stitch patterns for a cuff and a heel that are added for functionality of a sock. The lace stockings in the photo are from Faina's book, The Art of Seamless Knitting, and could be a future project for you once you learn the basics!

This class is offered in two parts:

Part 1. Anatomy of a sock, cuff, and a heel.
Part 2. Foot, toe portion and grafting.

The event will be hosted via Zoom. Learn about accessing our online events HERE.

This is LIVE class. It will not be recorded, so please be sure you are able to attend :)

The times for this class are Pacific time.

Login information and handouts will be sent to you via email the day before the event.
