Event Details

Meet the Author: Michele Lee Bernstein

When: Oct 12, 2022
From 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Where: Online via Zoom (via King County Library System)
Details:

Michele Lee Bernstein, PDXKnitterati, will talk about her history with brioche knitting, and about her book, Brioche Knit Love. She’ll share samples from the book, and show how each project teaches a new technique. Bring your needles and yarn for a starter brioche project! Use either super bulky yarn (like Malabrigo Rasta) and US 15 needles, or worsted weight yarn and US 6 needles. (The super bulky version goes quickly; you’re much more
likely to finish!)

Registration required by 10/11/22

Bio:
Michele Lee Bernstein, PDXKnitterati, designs and teaches from her home base in Portland, Oregon. She designs accessories that use interesting techniques (brioche, lace, fancy stitches) to make small objects sing.

Michele loves teaching knitters to be the boss of their knitting! She teaches at fiber festivals, guild meetings, retreats, and local yarn shops. Her book, Brioche Knit Love: 21 Skill Building Projects from Simple to Sublime combines her love for teaching and designing.

Michele blogs at PDXKnitterati.com. You can also find her on Instagram, Facebook, Ravelry, YouTube, and Twitter; she’s PDXKnitterati on all platforms.
