Conservation and Caring for Textiles - Online presentation

Textiles are a highly accessible and enjoyable form of art and craft present in homes around the world. Whether a new creation or historic in nature, textiles can be complicated when it comes to care and display. In this webinar, our presenter will provide information on the field of textile conservation and the care of textile objects in private collections. Examples of historic and modern pieces will be presented. The presenter will also provide information regarding storage and environmental conditions, as well as display options, and when you should consider engaging a conservator to help you.

The event will be hosted via Zoom. Learn about accessing our online events HERE.

This is a LIVE event. It will not be recorded, so please be sure you are able to attend.

The times are Pacific.

Login information and handouts will be sent to you via email the day before the event.
