ArtFelt Workshop with Karin Skacel
This is an intensive workshop where creativity is encouraged! We begin class with a tutorial on the different ways the artfelt paper can be used to create felted material and by looking at samples that have been made with this method of felting. The remaining time will be used to make small samples utilizing these different methods. Students will be encouraged to experiment with different layering techniques, various rovings, and the inclusion of locks, beads, fabric and ribbons.
At the end of class, you will have many small pieces that can be used to make various objects such as purses, coasters, and pillow cases. PLUS - you will have the knowledge to use the artfelt paper at home with confidence!
