Knit with Color Magic
Many knitters struggle to choose colors—whether for themselves or others. This workshop transforms color selection into a magical, intentional act! By linking color to meaning, students can confidently choose colors for any project with a fun, magical twist!
Students will explore traditional and personal color correspondences to build purposeful palettes. They’ll then apply what they learned to the included Wish Cowl pattern, a color-spell project that infuses the energy of a wish into physical form!
Get ready to walk through the yarn store (and your stash) with brand new eyes!
With three hours of instruction and guidance from Katie Rempe of Light From Lantern, students will learn to...
• Build color palettes based on intention (e.g., joy, protection, focus)
• Use color placement to tell a magical story
• Reflect on how color affects energy, mood, and projects

Students will receive PDF workbook + Wish Cowl pattern
Materials to Bring: Pen/Pencil & Notebook
Optional Materials to Bring: US8 24” needle, 50g each of 3 colors of sport weight yarn

Prerequisites
This class focuses on how to build color palettes, therefore even an ambitious beginner can take this class! For the Wish Cowl pattern, students should be comfortable with knit, purl, and working in the round.
