Reading Crochet Patterns & Charts: Sunburst Scarf
Do you ever feel like crochet patterns are written in a secret code? Have you found the perfect crochet project, but it only has a chart? No problem! In this class, you'll learn how to read written patterns and charts with ease. At the end of this class, you’ll be able to take home the skills to interpret crochet patterns and the beginnings of a colorful crochet scarf!
Class includes three hours of instruction, yarn, and a pattern to guide you as you create the lovely Sunburst Scarf!
Prerequisites
Students should be comfortable with crochet basics such as chaining, single crochet, double crochet, and treble crochet! Instruction and assistance will be provided but the class will be focusing on how to read crochet patterns and charts.

| Materials Included: | Class fee includes: 3 hours of instruction, two rings of Zauberperlen® by Schoppel (100% Virgin Merino Wool 440yds [402m] per 100g ring), and pattern! You’ll be able to pick your own colors at the class! |

| Instructor Bio: | With over five years of experience in fiber arts and a background in education, Elena is passionate about sharing the joys of fiber crafts with others! Elena specializes in crochet and Tunisian crochet but also has experience in knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, and sewing. You can find her designs and follow her current wips on Ravelry as Towerlocked. When she’s not playing with yarn, she can be found reading, watching scary movies with her husband, or playing tug-of-war with her dog Winnie. |
