Learn to Crochet: Fingerless Mitts



Ready to crochet? This beginner-friendly class is perfect for those new to crochet or looking for a refresher. No experience is needed! You'll learn essential stitches while working toward your first project: your very own pair of fingerless mitts.

Prerequisites
Students who are able to hold a crochet hook and are interested in learning this rewarding craft are welcome to join! Students under age 15 must be accompanied by an adult also registered in the class.

Class includes two hours of instruction with one hour for questions and hands-on help, all necessary materials, and a pattern to guide you as you create stylish, handmade mitts. Start your crochet journey with a project you can wear!

Instructor: Elena Marquez
Instructor Bio: With over five years of experience in fiber arts and a background in education, Elena is passionate about sharing the joys of fiber crafts with others! Elena specializes in crochet and Tunisian crochet but also has experience in knitting, cross stitch, embroidery, sewing and jewelry making. You can find her designs and follow her current wips on Ravelry as Towerlocked. When she’s not playing with yarn, she can be found reading, watching scary movies with her partner-in-crime, or playing tug-of-war with her dog Winnie.
