Knit a Hat on the addiExpress Machine | Make & Take



Make a knitted hat with zero knitting experience! Join us for this hands-on event where you will choose a yarn and then follow step by step as we guide you through the process of casting on, knitting, changing colors, binding off, and finishing your very own double-thick knitted hat! 

Students age 16 and younger must be accompanied by an adult who is also signed up for the workshop.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: No experience necessary! Come ready to learn how easy it is to knit a hat with this amazing machine!
Materials Included: Yarn in the colors of your choice to make one hat
Requirements: Students should be able to hold yarn, manipulate small objects (such as a blunt finishing needle), and crank the handle of the addiexpress machine.
Instructor: Kyle Kunnecke
Instructor Bio: Kyle Kunnecke is a passionate fiber artist and the General Manager of Makers' Mercantile. Known for his love of colorwork, he inspires students in his workshops to explore essential knitting skills and embark on their creative journeys. His designs appear in books, magazines, and under his label, Kyle William, including his book, Urban Knit Collection: 18 City-Inspired Knitting Patterns for the Modern Wardrobe.
