Artfelt is a felting method that combines the best attributes of wet felting, needle felting and fulling all in one very simple process that allows for unlimited amounts of creativity. In this one hour workshop, artfelt expert Karin Skacel will go over the basics of this felting technique, while creating a piece in real time.
She will cover and explain the basic materials needed and how to use them to create a solid piece of felt. Then, while the project is felting in the dryer (yes…the dryer, not the washer), she will show various accessories and garments made using this method to make certain you leave inspired! This will be an interactive demonstration with questions encouraged.
