What is Maker’s Market?

Maker’s Market is a curated marketplace hosted by Makers’ Mercantile for fiber artists and handmade creators. It’s a vibrant shopping event where vendors can showcase and sell their products directly to our engaged community of craft enthusiasts.

Who can apply to be a vendor?

We welcome applications from artists and creators offering handmade goods and supplies, including:

• Knitting and crochet items and supplies

• Sewing and quilting

• Weaving, felting, spinning, and dyeing

• Cross stitch, needlepoint, and embroidery

• Ceramics

• Handmade home décor, candles, soaps, and more

Is there a booth fee?

No, there is no upfront booth fee! Instead, Makers’ Mercantile will retain a 15% commission on sales made during the event.

What does Makers’ Mercantile provide?

• Indoor show space

• Tables and chairs

• Advertising and promotion (social media, e-newsletters, in-store flyers, and our website calendar)

• Payment processing — we handle all sales for you. After the event, you will receive a detailed sales report and a check for your total pre-tax sales, minus the agreed commission.

How do sales work during the event?

Makers’ Mercantile will process all customer transactions for you. You won’t need to manage cash or card payments. We will provide a complete sales breakdown following the event and send payment for your earnings.

When is the application deadline?

Vendor applications close on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.

When will I know if I’ve been accepted?

Accepted vendors will be notified by Friday, April 18, 2025.

What is expected of vendors on event day?

All you need to do is:

• Bring your products and any display materials you’d like to use

• Set up your table

• Be present to engage with customers, answer questions, and share your work

What size space will I receive?

We can provide 30" x 40" tables chairs as needed. If you need additional space or have special display requests, please let us know in your application.

Can I bring someone to help me at my booth?

Yes! You are welcome to have an assistant with you at your table.
