Plaid is the New Black is a simple, yet ingenious asymmetrical triangular wrap using three colors to create a plaid knitted fabric. Though complicated looking, it is really quite simple.
Option 1: Kenzie by Hikoo, 50% Wool, 25% Nylon,10% Angora,10% Alpaca - 160 yds /50g (3 balls of MC - shown in Color 1002), and Simplicity by Hikoo, 55% Merino, 28% Acrylic, 17% Nylon - 117 yds / 50g (2 skeins each of CC1 and CC2 - shown in Colors 039 & 025).
Option 2: Kenzie by Hikoo, 3 balls of MC, and 1 ball each of CC1 and CC2.
Option 3: Simplicity by Hikoo, 4 hanks of MC, and 2 hanks each of CC1 and CC2. Color 5 (C5) 045 - Edgy Eggplant 1 hank / 117 yds
